KW automotive has launched the KW V3 coilovers for the latest Ford Mustang Mach-E-SUV. The KW multi-valve dampers inside the coilovers ensure driving dynamics and comfort for the relatively heavy electric vehicle. The coilovers master even fast curve speeds and provide for a less nervous SUV-body of the Ford Mach-E. Also, KW dampers with their multi-valve technology are manually adjustable in the low-speed compression and rebound. Continuous lowering of 25 to 45 millimeters at the front axle and 20 to 40 millimeters at the rear axle are covered by a parts certificate (TÜV documents).
“The Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV is not as powerful as the SuperVan. Yet, the electric SUV benefits from the KW V3 coilovers in many ways.” says KW brand manager Florian Johann.
According to KW automotive, the KW V3 coilovers for the Mustang Mach-E-SUV will allow a total of 16 clicks can be made directly. Regardless of the rebound, the KW V3 coilovers can also be adjusted individually in low speed compression. Within twelve clicks the deflection of the wheels becomes tighter or smoother.
The Ford SUV with its high body construction conveys a secure driving experience and gains more ride comfort. The installation of KW V3 coilovers cause a low center of gravity in the electric SUV. This does not only lead to continuous lowering of 25 to 45 millimeters at the front axle and 20 to 40 millimeters at the rear axle but also more driving dynamic without having to make compromises in the driving comfort due to the multivalve technology.
