During this segment, representatives from businesses shared important development opportunities. EcoWorld Development Group Berhad, a leading Malaysian property developer, presented its integrated industrial ecosystem. Ms. Sun Jun from R&F Princess Cove also discussed the potential of their development near the Johor Strait.

With the ongoing development of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), Johor is becoming a key hub for regional headquarters and supply chain operations due to its competitive costs and easy access to Singapore’s financial services.

A Memorandum of Cooperation Signing Ceremony took place in front of distinguished guests. The agreement was signed by Puan Sri Nur Qistina Lim from KMA Travel & Tours, Lei Ting Han from Nine Square Media, and Mr. Dicky Lee from the IFOOD Expo, who has over 20 years of experience organizing food exhibitions.

In an interview, Mr Phan Yan Chan, Chief Development Officer of EcoWorld highlighted Malaysia’s strategic advantages, “Malaysia offers a stable political environment, strong infrastructure and a strategic position at the centre of ASEAN, providing access to a market of over 600 million people. It is an ideal destination for companies seeking to optimise their global supply chains.”

Unlike traditional industrial developers, EcoWorld builds a comprehensive industrial ecosystem platform with high-voltage power supply, fibre connectivity, and one-stop services for company incorporation, manufacturing licences, and tax incentives. The group has attracted over 1,800 companies, including Chinese enterprises like Haitian Group and Deye Group, as well as global technology leaders Microsoft and Google.

In his closing remarks, Mr. Tan Kaiyuan, Deputy Director of Hunan Broadcasting System International Channel emphasised that the launch event demonstrated the strong momentum of Malaysia-China cooperation. From the scenic landscapes featured on screen to the tangible business partnerships formed at the venue, Let’s Go Malaysia has evolved beyond a television programme into a comprehensive platform integrating cultural exchange, tourism promotion and industrial collaboration.

As China and Malaysia mark over five decades of diplomatic relations, their partnership is entering a new era of opportunity, leveraging Hunan as an inland gateway and Malaysia’s strategic position in ASEAN.

The official broadcast of “Let’s Go Malaysia” has established a new bridge connecting culture, tourism, commerce, and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
