
The 10th edition of the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2024 (KLIMS 2024) concluded successfully at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), with 183,221 visitors over seven days. Centered on the theme “Beyond Mobility,” the show highlighted sustainability and electrification.





The mobility showcase featured notable participants such as Toyota, Perodua, Proton, Honda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Mazda, Kia, Great Wall Motor (GWM), MG Motor, XPeng, Modenas, Kawasaki, Aion, Royal Enfield, Harley-Davidson, Peugeot, and Leapmotor, underscoring the show’s global appeal. These exhibitors unveiled an impressive array of concept cars and prototypes, with Toyota presenting innovations like the FT-3e, Land Cruiser SE, Hilux FCEV, and the versatile Kayoibako. Nissan captivated visitors with its futuristic Hyper Tourer, while Honda introduced the sleek Prelude Concept alongside the compact and foldable Honda Motocompacto electric scooter, as well as its groundbreaking eVTOL flying car concept. Representing local ingenuity, Perodua showcased the eMO-II, its EV concept car and the bold Ativa Fuze concept, further highlighting Malaysia’s automotive potential.

Exhibitors were celebrated for their creativity and design, with the Best Booth Design Awards recognizing winners in various categories. In the OEM Category (400 sqm and above), UMW Toyota Motor Sdn. Bhd. took 1st place, followed by Proton Holdings Bhd and Perodua Sales Sdn Bhd in 2nd and 3rd places, respectively. Stellantis Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. was the overall winner in the OEM Category (399 sqm and below). In the Non-OEM Category, PECCA Leather Sdn. Bhd. won, with Wedrink Enterprise Management (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 2nd and Didi Group in 3rd.
The Best Booth Design Awards were evaluated on criteria such as visual appeal with eye-catching graphics, clear brand representation aligned with the theme “Beyond Mobility,” efficient space utilisation for visitor interaction, and functionality to support product demonstrations, featuring engaging elements like VR experiences and touch screens.


KLIMS 2024 also offered exciting prizes to ticket holders, including grand prize winner Mohd Azzarain Abdul Aziz who won a Toyota Yaris 1.5G Limited and first prize winner Leaw Xiu Qi who received a Perodua Axia. These awards were celebrated at an Appreciation High-tea hosted by MAA, honoring exhibitors for their creativity and innovation.
