JAC Auto (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has launched the all-new JAC N90 light-duty truck during at the recent Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo 2026, held at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC). Transport Minister YB Anthony Loke officiated the unveiling during his visit to the JAC Auto (Malaysia) booth.
It’s a versatile and highly capable commercial vehicle designed to meet demands of modern logistics and transport businesses while featuring advanced safety systems, strong performance and cost-effective ownership. The truck is an ideal partner for suburban deliveries, construction operations, and high-frequency, long-distance transport.
According to Oscar Yu, General Manager of JAC International, JAC Motors, a major, fast-growing player in the global commercial truck segment has consistently been a top exporter of mid to high-end light duty trucks from China for many years.

Now in its sixth generation, the JAC Light duty truck has become a reliable choice for businesses around the world, with over 3.2 million units sold since it first came out. The new JAC N90 model further boosts JAC’s standing in the premium light-duty truck market, providing a great mix of power, reliability, and efficiency.
With a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) of 7.5 tonnes, the N90 offers excellent performance and strength for many commercial uses. It has different configurations with wheelbase options from 3365mm to 4800mm, allowing users to customize the truck for different types of cargo, such as cargo boxes, refrigerated units, construction bodies, and other specialized commercial uses.
The N90 showcases a robust “golden powertrain” configuration ideal for light-to-medium-duty operations, featuring a Cummins B4.5 (Euro V) engine paired with an Eaton-Fuller ESO-6106A transmission. This combination provides excellent launch performance and improved fuel efficiency, achieving a 3–5 percent reduction in fuel consumption compared to direct-drive transmissions at highway speeds.
The Cummins B4.5 engine, already proven globally, produces 160hp at 2,600 rpm and offers a peak torque of 540 Nm from 1,100 to 1,800 rpm, ensuring both strong performance and compliance with Euro V emissions.
Designed for driver comfort, the N90’s cab includes an air-suspension seat, adjustable armrest, and a 10.4-inch multimedia touchscreen for enhanced connectivity.
Safety features include ABS, ASR, Hill-Start Assist, and Electronic Stability Control, promoting stability across various conditions.
The JAC N90 can be bought at authorized JAC dealerships nationwide for RM118,000 (Bare Chassis). It includes a six-year warranty or 300,000km, whichever arrives first. Customers also enjoy a free service for the first 10,000km, promoting affordable ownership and maintenance.
