Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) makes a surprised at the ongoing Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS) 2026 with an exclusive mid-event teaser preview of its new Hyundai STARGAZER. The special showcase is only for a limited-time public preview, allowing visitors a firsthand glimpse into Hyundai’s expanding mobility lineup and progressive future product direction for the Malaysian market.
As HMY grows as a direct subsidiary, the new Hyundai STARGAZER highlights the brand’s commitment to versatile and innovative vehicles that meet local consumer demands. This preview at KLIMS 2026 shows Hyundai’s flexibility in expanding its local offerings, quickly transitioning from high-performance electric cars to practical family vehicles – making sure there is an innovative Hyundai option for every phase of Malaysian life.

The new and upcoming STARGAZER is offering comfortable space utilisation, futuristic aesthetics, practical daily usability, and smart technology for road trips, daily commutes, and family adventures.
The new Hyundai STARGAZER features a modern design with a sleek shape and a full-width ‘H’ LED light bar at the back. Aimed at younger families seeking a stylish option, Hyundai is also launching the STARGAZER X variant, which has a sporty SUV look with unique bumpers, a rear spoiler, overfenders, and black accents.
On the inside, you get a three-row cabin setup for a spacious and comfortable place. The interior features useful technology, including a large digital display up to 10.25 inches, a wireless charging pad, and handy seat-back tables for passengers.
Powering the car is the 1.5-litre Smartstream engine and a smooth Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), which is said to be capable of outputing 115PS at 6.300 rpm and max torque of 144 Nm at 4,500 rpm. It also includes Hyundai SmartSense driver assistance system for Prime and X variants, which includes helpful features like Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. The new Hyundai STARGAZER will comes with a warranty of 8 Years/160,000km.
There will be three variants for the Malaysia market: 7-seater Style, 7-seater Prime and 6-seater X.
