Huawei Malaysia had officially launched the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series, featuring the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 in 46mm and 41mm sizes, alongside the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro, with prices starting from RM1,199.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series features a Diabetes Risk Study by Universiti Malaya, a new Physical Readiness Score, better route tracking, enhanced cycling and golf functions, and a brighter display. The GT 7 Pro and GT 7 46mm last up to 21 days on a single charge, while the GT 7 41mm lasts up to 14 days.
Designed for movement and everyday wear
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 comes in two sizes. The 46mm model has colors like Yellow, Blue, and Black, while the 41mm model is available in Pink, Blue, White, and Grey. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro comes in Yellow, Green, and Black. This Pro model features a strong ceramic bezel, a lightweight titanium frame, and sapphire glass, making it both stylish and durable for daily use and outdoor adventures. It is designed to be reliable in different situations, with triple protection that includes a tough metal coating, dust resistance (IP69), and water resistance (5 ATM).
The watch also includes the new HUAWEI EasyCross Strap, which stays secure and offers a clean, comfortable fit. The AMOLED display is bright, reaching up to 3,000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in sunlight.
Health insights that support daily decisions
A key feature for Malaysia is the HUAWEI Diabetes Risk Study, led by Universiti Malaya. It uses pulse-wave signals from the watch’s PPG sensor, along with details like age, gender, height, and weight, to evaluate the risk of diabetes after wearing the device for three to 14 days. The goal is to raise awareness and encourage users to seek professional advice if necessary; it does not provide a diabetes diagnosis.
“Sometimes, prevention starts with simply knowing your risk,” said Dr Mohd Izzar Anwari bin Abdul Khani. “Technology cannot replace a doctor, and a smartwatch cannot diagnose diabetes. What it can do, however, is encourage us to pay closer attention to our health. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series can support greater awareness of our wellbeing and help us better understand when it may be time to take action. It is not a replacement for medical care, but it can be part of a broader conversation around health awareness and prevention.”
The series includes CE- and MDA-certified Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis and the unique Physical Readiness Score, which assesses recovery, heart rate variability, sleep, activity, and emotional wellbeing daily. The GT 7 Pro adds certified ECG and Arterial Stiffness Assessment. Additional features like morning briefings, Emotional Wellbeing 2.0, sleep tracking, women’s health tracking, Huawei Health app tools, and a Health Community on-wrist support users and their families.
From everyday workouts to outdoor adventures
Designed for outdoor enthusiasts, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series features enhanced AI-XDR Positioning for reliable route tracking in challenging environments. By integrating GNSS with onboard sensors and advanced algorithms, it maintains tracking even through tunnels and urban areas. Smart Route Reconstruction helps restore sections of a route when GPS is interrupted.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series offers various sports experiences, combining professional data with intelligent tracking to enhance workouts. YB Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman emphasized the importance of understanding performance data during the launch.
For trail running and hiking, it provides advanced metrics, Segment Navigation, Route Back, offline maps, and Strava integration. The GT 7 Pro enhances outdoor capabilities with features for golf and freediving up to 40 meters.
The series also supports various sports, tracking indoor and outdoor skiing and snowboarding across 3,000 ski resorts. Cyclists benefit from Climb Planning and Alerts, while AI Workout Analysis offers insights into performance. Dedicated apps for racket sports track metrics like smash speed and swing frequency to enhance user performance understanding.

Built for busy weekdays and active weekends, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series features high-silicon stacked battery technology, with the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro and 46mm version offering up to 21 days of battery life, while the 41mm version provides up to 14 days. It also includes Touch ’n Go QR Payment and is compatible with both Android and iOS, keeping users connected with less time spent on charging.
Pricing and Availability
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 is now available for sale at RM1,199, while the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro is available at RM1,499. In conjunction with the launch, customers will be eligible for an exclusive RM100 rebate upon purchase of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 series, valid until 31 October 2026.
