Inspired by the Kármán Line, the HUAWEI WATCH 5 features a sleek design available in 42mm and 46mm. Both models combine polished exteriors and detailed crowns.
Huawei introduces new Sand Gold and Beige editions for the 42mm model and a Purple edition for the 46mm, crafted from 904L stainless steel and aerospace-grade silver for durability. Each watch includes a spherical sapphire glass for exceptional clarity.
The HUAWEI WATCH 5 offers three strap materials: titanium, fluoroelastomer, and a new composite that mimics leather yet remains odour-free, waterproof, and stain-resistant, with high-tech leather straps available in denim and silk textures.
HUAWEI X-TAP TECHNOLOGY: A New Era of Health Monitoring and Interaction
At the core of the HUAWEI WATCH 5 is the innovative Multi-sensing X-TAP technology, which combines electrocardiogram (ECG), photoplethysmography (PPG), and tactile sensors for enhanced health monitoring, shifting from wrist-based to fingertip sensing. This technology improves accuracy and speed in health data collection.
X-TAP technology enables interaction through touch and pressure levels. By holding the sensor for three seconds, users can access Health Glance, providing a health report with 10 key metrics like heart rate variability (HRV) and blood oxygen saturation in under 60 seconds.
With X-TAP, HUAWEI WATCH 5 delivers industry-leading fingertip blood oxygen (SpO2) monitoring in under 10 seconds, using the skin’s unique properties for enhanced pulse wave detection.
Simple Gestures, Powerful Results
The HUAWEI WATCH 5 features intuitive gesture controls like Double Slide and Double Tap for easy call handling, music management, and smartphone camera use. It includes support for select third-party social app voice calls, adding convenience when screen interaction is limited.
Offering eSIM connectivity for outdoor activities and a dual-mode battery, the 46mm model provides up to 4.5 days of use, while the 42mm lasts 3 days in Standard Mode. Battery Saver Mode extends life up to 11 and 7 days, respectively.
