Huawei unveils Upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Fabric for the Asia-Pacific Region during Huawei Network Summit 2025

Wang Yidong, Director of Huawei’s Asia Pacific ICT Marketing & Solution Sales Dept, delivering a keynote speech

At the Huawei Network Summit 2025 (Asia Pacific), Huawei unveiled its upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Fabric solution in the session “Xinghe Intelligent Fabric, Powering the AI Era,” designed to accelerate digital transformation for enterprises across the region.

Wang Yidong, Director of Huawei’s Asia Pacific ICT Marketing & Solution Sales Dept, stated in his keynote speech: “Across the Asia-Pacific region, we have deployed cutting-edge data center network infrastructure for enterprises spanning multiple industries. Our high-performance, ultra-reliable, and highly secure network solutions empower customers to drive business innovation while maximizing operational efficiency”.

Arthur Wang, President of Data Center Network Domain, Huawei Data Communication Product Line

Arthur Wang, President of Data Center Network Domain at Huawei, highlighted that as AI technologies and cloud architectures evolve, data center networks are undergoing a pivotal transformation. The upgraded Xinghe Intelligent Fabric solution features a three-layer architecture—AI Brain, AI Connection, and AI Network Element—to create a robust data center network that ensures connectivity with substantial computing power for always-on services.

  • AI Brain: Utilizing an exclusive network digital map and NetMaster (network agent), this layer automates process deployment, integrates network-security simulation, and automatically resolves 80% of faults, significantly enhancing O&M efficiency.
  • AI Connection: Leveraging Huawei’s unique Network-Scale Load Balancing (NSLB) algorithm, this layer optimizes path planning, alleviates network performance bottlenecks, and boosts AI training efficiency by over 10%. Additionally, the iReliable three-level reliability technology, along with optical module channel loss resistance and contamination/looseness detection, ensures zero service interruptions.
  • AI Network Element: Built on the CloudEngine series of data center switches and StarryLink optical modules, this layer offers high-precision traffic detection and visualizes network packet loss and latency. It also provides intrinsic security and group isolation capabilities, significantly enhancing overall network security.

At the session, Welcome Chan, IT Security and Network Director of Chong Hing Bank, and Adam Lam, Solutions Architect of Hong Kong Broadband Network, presented their collaboration results with Huawei. Dario ROSSI, Director of Huawei’s Data Communication Network Algorithm and Measurement Technology Laboratory, also discussed data center networks’ development trends in the AI era.

Huawei aims to collaborate with partners and customers to enhance R&D in the data center network sector, drive intelligent upgrades, and support digital transformation across industries with innovative solutions.
