Following the recent global launch, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series and HUAWEI FreeClip 2 S are now available in Malaysia. This latest lineup from Huawei combines advanced camera features, smart experiences, and a sleek design to improve daily photography, productivity, and entertainment.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Series offers advanced camera technology for different shooting situations. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is equipped with a top-notch 200MP camera with a large sensor, 4x optical zoom, optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 20x zoom video feature that captures distant subjects clearly. It also has an Ultra Lighting HDR camera for enhanced visuals. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro includes a Macro Telephoto camera for close-up shots and a 50MP main camera for detailed photos.
In addition to impressive hardware, the series uses smart AI features to enhance photography. AI Composition helps with framing, AI De-Glare removes shiny spots, and AI Move and AI Remove make photo editing easier by repositioning or removing subjects. AI Best Expression picks the best facial expressions from different shots. The series also includes a 2nd Generation True-to-Colour Camera, which provides more natural and accurate colors.
On the software side, the HUAWEI Pura 90s Series uses EMUI 16, based on Android 16, which provides great connectivity and a smoother experience for calls, browsing, and sharing content. To make sharing files easier, the Petal InterConnect App allows users to transfer photos, videos, and files between HUAWEI and iOS devices effortlessly. This is enhanced by the Celia AI Assistant and the HUAWEI AppGallery, which offer convenience, smarter interactions, and easy access to many apps for daily tasks and entertainment.
The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max comes in Orange Ocean, Blaze Purple, Blush Gold, and Graphite Black, with the Orange Ocean version featuring a unique Dual-Tone Gradient Mid-Frame. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro is available in Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Mulberry Black, and Coconut White. Both models have a strong 6000mAh battery, with the Pro Max supporting 100W wired and 80W wireless HUAWEI SuperCharge, while the Pro offers 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The HUAWEI Pura 90s Pro Max is also notable for its Anti-Reflection Scratch-Resistant Kunlun Glass, which provides extra durability and reduces screen glare.
HUAWEI launched the Pura 90s Series in Malaysia alongside the Pura Trip Photography Campaign, led by Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato’ Sri Tiong King Sing, and En. Mohd Amirul Rizal Abdul Rahim from Tourism Malaysia. The campaign, running until 16 August 2026, encourages Malaysians to capture the country’s beauty through their “Discover Truly Malaysia” moments with the HUAWEI Pura 90 series.
