Heineken House 2026 unites Malaysian music fans with Just Say Hei campaign and performance by international and local DJs

Heineken House, featuring Swedish DJ Axwell with Baby J and Tye Turner, concluded months of Heineken House Sessions on 15 August, uniting music fans from Kuala Lumpur and beyond for a celebration of music and connection.

In an age where online interactions dominate, Heineken promotes real-life connections through its Fans Have More Friends platform and local Just Say Hei campaign, encouraging people to initiate greetings. At Heineken House, fans enjoyed music and shared interests, fostering new friendships and memorable experiences.

At Heineken House, shared passions brought music fans together, sparking new friendships and memorable moments through music.

One standout experience was the Hei Zone, featuring The Clinker, Heineken’s latest innovation in Malaysia.

First launched at Coachella, The Clinker enhances the social experience by connecting fans through shared music tastes. Worn around a Heineken cup, it lights up when users have common interests, offering a simple, wordless way to break the ice and foster connections.

As a physical expression of Fans Have More Friends, The Clinker showed how powerful Just Say Hei, is by proving that shared interests can lead to new friendships.

Continuing the theme of connection, the Hei Zone created a welcoming atmosphere for the evening. Fans got to enjoy a selection of international, regional, and local artists in two engaging music rooms, offering something for everyone.

At Star Arena, the festival featured amazing performances, ending with an exciting set by Axwell. He played popular dance songs and fan favorites that brought everyone together in celebration.

Meanwhile, Star Club offered a more intimate 360-degree experience, where Baby J and Tye Turner performed a back-to-back set, leading an energetic programme spanning house, techno and baile funk.

The dual-room format celebrated music diversity, creating spaces for every fan to find their community.

“Music has always had the unique ability to bring people together, but the best moments happen when fans go beyond sharing the same playlist and start creating real connections,” said Sean O’Donnell, Marketing Director of HEINEKEN Malaysia.

“At the heart of Just Say Hei is the belief that making the first move shouldn’t feel intimidating. Heineken House and the Hei Zone were designed to give people the confidence to say hello and see where it leads. Whether it began with a shared song or a simple conversation, the night showed that some of the best friendships start when people connect in real life,” continued Sean.

Heineken promotes social connection through shared interests like music, football, and Formula 1 by encouraging people to take breaks from their screens and find friendships by simply saying “Hei.”
