Grab recognises Driver- And Delivery-Partners efforts with Penghargaan Rakan Grab

Grab Malaysia (Grab) recently hosted Penghargaan Rakan Grab to appreciate its driver-and delivery-partners. In partnership with Central Mart, Grab distributed fuel and grocery vouchers to help relieved from the rising living costs.

Grab’s initiatives to support partners go hand-in-hand with national efforts to mitigate economic burdens among Malaysians.

“Grab believes in contributing towards driving Malaysia forward by creating economic empowerment for all. Through tools and programmes that help our partners build resilient, long-term earning opportunities, we are offering a platform where everyone can thrive. By supplementing income with shorter-term measures such as vouchers that give our partners breathing room in pressing economic environments, we aim to ensure the gig economy remains a viable and sustainable earning ecosystem for all Malaysians,” said Rashid Shukor, Senior Director, Grab Malaysia.

AI Ride Guide and an enhanced incentive program provide real-time insights and route optimization, helping partners maximize earnings and efficiency while maintaining flexibility in their activities. This approach also empowers women, as a 2026 study found that 74% of Grab’s female partners achieved greater financial independence through the platform.

“It’s vital for Grab to get this right, as it sits at the heart of our approach. As a mission-driven company, we measure success not just through growth, but through positive and lasting social impact in the communities we serve. Technology with compassion empowers our partners, who can leverage the ecosystem we’ve built to earn and build a better future, centered around comprehensive support, safety, sustainable income and upskilling,” added Rashid.

Grab not only offers platform-based tools but also supports partners with GrabBenefits, which includes personal accident insurance, SOCSO, and cost-saving solutions. Additionally, it provides upskilling programs through GrabAcademy, with over RM10 million invested by 2025.
