FWD Insurance Berhad and Bank Simpanan Nasional launch Qaseh Setia

FWD Insurance Berhad and Bank Simpanan Nasional have launched Qaseh Setia, an affordable microinsurance plan aimed at supporting Malaysians, especially those in the B40 income group. Since its April 2025 launch, it has covered over 20,000 lives.

For just RM0.20 a day, Qaseh Setia offers significant financial protection, including accidental death coverage up to RM90,000 and up to RM15,000 for non-accidental death and total disability. It also assists with funeral expenses by providing up to RM3,000, reflecting a commitment to social responsibility and financial inclusion.

It’s more than just a microinsurance policy—it’s a meaningful step toward empowering underserved communities, giving them the protection and confidence they deserve,” said Mak See Sen, Chief Executive Officer of FWD Insurance. “At FWD, we want everyone to celebrate living, knowing their loved ones are protected and supported when it matters most. Peace of mind shouldn’t be a luxury, it is a necessity and should be accessible to all.”

Qaseh Setia allows easy enrolment without the need for medical checks, benefiting those in the B40 income group.

As part of its 2025 FWD Fiesta Campaign, FWD Insurance will host a roadshow from 21 – 24 August 2025 at Mytown Shopping Centre to raise awareness about financial planning. Attendees can explore products like Qaseh Setia and Qaseh Bakti Plus at dedicated booths and receive free health checks. The event also features fun activities for children and opportunities to win prizes, including a brand-new Proton X50!

This roadshow encapsulates FWD’s mission of ‘Changing the way people feel about insurance’, making it more relatable for all.
