Full artist line-up for World Labour Day Celebration cum Rain Rave Water Music Festival 2026 announced

Tourism Malaysia has officially announced the full artist line-up for the World Labour Day Celebration cum Rain Rave Water Music Festival 2026, which include acts from the country’s most recognised names in hip-hop and pop alongside an international act of DJs from Europe and Asia. The event is taking place in the heart of Bukit Bintang from 30 April to 2 May 2026, transforming Kuala Lumpur into an open-air music destination for the Labour Day weekend, under Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).

At the center of the event is a line-up of Malaysian talent, led by Joe Flizzow, who is a key figure in Malaysian hip-hop. He is joined by rapper and producer SonaOne from Kartel Records, rising star Killa Driz from Def Jam South East Asia, and performer Mimifly, along with Malaysian girl groups DOLLA and De Fam. This diverse line-up showcases nearly 30 years of Malaysia’s modern music scene, giving visitors a chance to see how far Malaysian talent has come.

On the international side, the festival features WUJACKERS, a new collaboration between the Dutch duo Bassjackers and Singaporean DJ Wukong. Bassjackers are known for performing at major festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, and EDC Las Vegas. Wukong is famous for his unique Oriental Rave sound in Asia. The event also includes an all-female international DJ line-up with DJs from different countries, including DJ Lovezy (Philippines), Moskilove (Indonesia), DJ Pixzy, DJ Yoyo Music, JMiJi (Thailand), and Lo_aaa (Republic of Korea).

This program is expected to attract visitors from nearby countries, boosting tourism during one of Malaysia’s busiest travel weekends. Selected hotels across the country are offering special stay packages for the World Labour Day Celebration Cum Rain Rave Water Music Festival, providing great options for local and regional travelers looking for a long weekend in Kuala Lumpur.

Away from the main stage, the festival expands throughout the day with the Rhythm of Flavours food market and the Rhythm of Cultures arts and crafts zone, open from 10am to 10pm. These areas highlight Malaysian cuisine, local crafts, and traditional performances, celebrating the country’s multicultural identity.

As a VM2026 strategic activation, the World Labour Day Celebration Cum Rain Rave Water Music Festival highlights Malaysian creative talent and promotes cultural identity while boosting economic value in tourism, hospitality, retail, food and beverage, and the creative sectors.
