Experian Malaysia successfully launched GenAI Tech Week; allowing its workforce to harness GenAI

Experian Malaysia has launched its inaugural GenAI Tech Week, a three-day program that aims to equip non-technical staff with the knowledge and practical skills needed to harness the transformative power of Generative AI (GenAI). The program offers interactive sessions and workshops, allowing non-technical staff to understand GenAI applications and integrate it into their daily workflows.

The event also include a panel session with Adrian Chew, Asean Data and Analytics Leader, Partner, Ernst & Young Consulting; Dato’ Dr. Munirah Looi, Founder and Strategic Advisor of Brandt International, Wing K Lee, CEO, YTL Communications and Chai Mun Wai, Head of Infrastructure & InfoSec, EMEA & APAC, Experian.

Experian has trained 94% of its global employees on GenAI and its safe and secure use, empowering them to leverage this powerful technology and drive innovation. The company also offers a dedicated resource site and community forum, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration. Experian has identified over 500 use cases for GenAI across its global operations, including content creation, chatbot development, boosting coder and engineer productivity, and streamlining data intake and structuring. The GenAI Academy serves as a central hub, offering a diverse range of learning resources tailored for all employees.

The three-day GenAI Tech Week marks a significant step forward in laying the groundwork for a future where GenAI plays a transformative role across the organization.
