Eastern & Oriental Berhad (E&O) recently collaborated with Cloud Club to host Andaman Island’s inaugural Fa-La-La Christmas Market, attracting around 10,000 visitors daily. Spanning three days, the event celebrated local entrepreneurial talent with a curated marketplace and community-driven activities.
Set on a 760-acre reclaimed island, Andaman aims to redefine urban living with a focus on sustainability and community. The Fa-La-La Christmas Market featured 60 vendor booths, showcasing diverse products from fashion to artisanal gifts, emphasizing the event’s vibrant atmosphere.
Inspired by a North Pole Christmas Village, activities included snowing sessions, carol singing, and workshops, with snowing sessions emerging as a highlight. Visitors appreciated this festive addition to Penang’s calendar, promoting engagement for all ages.
Dato’ Seri Tee Eng Ho, Executive Chairman of E&O Berhad, described the event as an opportunity for Penangites to connect with Andaman Island and local entrepreneurs.
