Eco-Shop “Satu Senyuman, Seribu Makna” campaign brings a meaningful Malaysia day cheer to children and charity homes in Malaysia

Eco-Shop has recently launched the “Satu Senyuman Seribu Makna” initiative with a major community campaign on 20 September 2025 at MAEPS Serdang. The event brought together over 1,000 participants, including children from charity homes, in collaboration with the Budimas Charitable Foundation, marking the company’s largest CSR celebration.

Launched on Malaysia Day, the campaign aimed to spread joy and foster connections, featuring in-store promotions and activities with Che Sayang, a beloved chef. Eco-Shop also achieved an ASEAN RECORD for the “Largest Corporate CSR Charity Carnival Distributing Meals and Stationery to Underprivileged Communities,” underscoring its impact and commitment to community uplift.

Jessica Ng, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Eco-Shop Malaysia, stated, “This campaign was never about how big the event could be, but how deeply it could resonate with the people we serve. From the children who smiled a little brighter to the communities who felt seen and included, we are reminded that meaningful impact starts with sincere intention. That is the heart of what this campaign stands for.”

To inspire and uplift children, Eco-Shop collaborated with beloved local personality Che Sayang, sharing meals and joy with underprivileged communities ahead of Malaysia Day.

The “Satu Senyuman, Seribu Makna” campaign is part of Eco-Shop’s CSR efforts to support vulnerable groups and reinforce its mission of enhancing lives. With more initiatives planned, Eco-Shop aims to remain a trusted community partner and a leader in affordable retail.

“This campaign is just the beginning. As we look to the future, Eco-Shop remains committed to creating more platforms that uplift communities, especially those who are often overlooked. Our goal is not only to provide everyday essentials, but to build a culture of care, connection, and shared progress, one initiative at a time,” concluded Jessica.
