Bolt has recently announced they are now available via ChatGPT through a global integration, allowing ChatGPT’s 900 million weekly users to access Bolt’s service or the first time.

Customers can interact with Bolt in ChatGPT to get price estimates, compare route options, and check driver arrival times. It also suggests optimal pickup locations to minimize waiting. When ready, booking details transfer to the Bolt app for completion.
The integration comes as AI becomes the main channel for travellers to plan their journeys. According to Accenture’s Consumer Pulse Research 2025, which surveyed 18,000 consumers in 14 countries, 80% of travellers now use AI tools for travel, with over half willing to let AI manage their arrangements.
“People don’t plan their evening in five different apps anymore. A lot of that planning happens in one conversation with AI now,” said Afzan Lutfi, General Manager, Malaysia. “For years, booking a ride meant opening a dedicated ride-hailing app. As more everyday interactions take place through AI, we think requesting a ride should be just as straightforward: ask, see the price, and go.”
Payment will go through the Bolt app at launch. Bolt plans to allow payment for rides directly in ChatGPT in the future.
