COPAA KL offers Christmas limited-edition Sharing Course Menu as part of its third anniversary celebration

COPAA KL, located at Desa Sri Hartamas, is celebrating three years of redefining modern dining by offering this Christmas with a limited-edition Sharing Course Menu. Prepped by owner and culinary curator Jon Chew, this limited-edition Sharing Course Menu delivers a bold, flavour-driven journey that reimagines holiday dining through a lens of sophisticated, modern fusion.

Jon Chew, who grew up in Penang and worked in the fitness industry, offers a unique perspective. After spending years with Les Mills Asia Pacific and managing his own gym, he has applied his discipline and creativity to COPAA. Each dish on the menu results from his own research and development, showcasing his journey from fitness to creating wonderful flavor experiences.

“After three incredible years, our approach is more refined than ever,” says Jon Chew. “COPAA was built on the idea of connection—through food, through shared plates, through conversation. This Christmas menu is a celebration of that core belief. We’ve taken everything we’ve learned and poured it into creating a feast that’s not just a meal, but a memorable experience.”

The limited-edition Sharing Course Menu is priced at RM169 per person (minimum 2 persons), brings a theatrical exploration of texture, umami, and festive warmth:

  • The Prelude: A vibrant dance of Kale, Sweet Basil, and Pomelo, punctuated with the luxurious pop of Tomato Caviar and Dry Scallops, all brought together with a tantalizing Spicy Plum Dressing.
  • The Comfort: Decadence takes centre stage with Unagi draped over creamy Scrambled Duck Egg and Seaweed, finished with a glossy, sweet Teriyaki glaze.
  • Showstopper: Succulent Tiger Prawns are elevated with crispy Garlic Chips, aromatic Prawn Oil, and a fiery Prawn Paste Sambal, served with freshly baked Focaccia for the ultimate flavour scoop.
  • The Main Event (A Choice to Share): Diners are presented with a trio of exquisite choices:
    • Pan-Fried Snapper, marinated and served with a bold Asam Jawa and Sambal Ikan Bilis.
    • Half Aged Chicken, accompanied by rich Burnt French Onion and Homemade Cranberry Sauce.
    • Sirloin Steak, prepared with a savoury glaze of Kicap, Shallots, and Scallions.
  • The Grand Finale: The savoury journey culminates in a bowl of pure umami bliss—Crab Meat and Dried Scallop Ramen, perfumed with Crab Oil and topped with Crispy Shallots.
  • The Sweet Ending: The feast concludes with a playful local twist on a classic dessert: Kaya Tiramisu, a sublime fusion that promises to be the talk of the season.

Beyond this festive creation, COPAA is committed to providing its unique dining experience at an affordable price every day. The popular à la carte menu, with a variety of sharing plates, starts from RM69. This reflects COPAA’s belief that high-quality, chef-inspired fusion cuisine should be accessible to all food lovers.

“Our mission has always been twofold,” adds Jon Chew. “To create exceptional, special occasion menus that push boundaries, and to provide a consistently outstanding everyday dining experience. The RM69 menu is a testament to our commitment to value and creativity, allowing guests to enjoy the COPAA journey any day of the week.”

Located at 38-1, Jalan 24/70a, Desa Sri Hartamas, COPAA offers a stylish setting for festive dining. The restaurant focuses on sharing, promoting connection and conversation, which captures the spirit of the holiday season.

“Transitioning from fitness to food might seem unexpected, but both are about crafting experiences that elevate and delight,” reflects Jon Chew. “For this special anniversary Christmas menu, I wanted every bite to tell a story—our story. It’s about bold, memorable flavours that spark joy and are meant to be shared. This isn’t just a seasonal special; it’s a thank you to Kuala Lumpur for an amazing three years.”

This culinary preview is available for a limited time during the festive season. Bookings are recommended to secure a seat at this unforgettable table. Guests can also enjoy COPAA’s regular menu outside of the festive period.
