Central i-City and One Universal Production Sdn Bhd is set to host Kuromi 20th Anniversary Celebration, featuring Malaysia’s first-ever large-scale Kuromi event and official Kuromi birthday celebration. Happening from 29 November until 11 January 2026, turning the mall into a must-visit year-end destination for fans, families and anyone who loves a bit of cute chaos.
The event also marks Kuromi’s inaugural meeting fans in Malaysia during the exclusive meet-and-greet sessions, allowing attendees to snap photos, say hello and interact with the playful character up close. The main highlight of the event is the officially licensed Kuromi Inflatable Playland, the largest of its kind in Malaysia. Also, right in the mall’s central concourse is a 8-metre-tall giant Kuromi installation.
For those who wants Kuromi official merch, there is a Kuromi Pop-Up Store will be open throughout the event, that offers limited-edition merchandise – from plushies and stationery to bags, accessories, and special 20th-anniversary collectibles. The Kuromi Wonderland also features activities suitable for all ages, including carnival-style game booths, dance machines, themed photo spots, and interactive activity zones.
With Christmas near, Central i-City will host festive events including magic shows, Christmas carols, talent showcases, live bands, clown acts, and Santa walkabouts. There will also be a Christmas colouring contest and a talent competition to help kids express their creativity and confidence.
