CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) has launched its MY5G SME Digital Workshop programme to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia enhance their digital skills. In its third year, the 2025 edition features hands-on workshops and on-ground engagements, aiming to reach 1,500 participants across key cities like Kuala Terengganu, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Kinabalu, and Kuching by year-end.
The MY5G SME Digital Workshop is supported by key partners including Bank Simpanan Nasional, Commerze Capital, Funding Societies Malaysia, Hannan Medispa, MATRADE, MIDF, SME Corp. Malaysia, TERAJU, and TikTok Shop. This year’s workshops introduced Business Matching for networking, Live Streaming by TikTok Shop for content creation guidance, and Arena Usahawan for connecting entrepreneurs with funding and support.
The programme also features Jelajah 5G SME, providing on-ground visits to SMEs, enhancing understanding of their challenges, and advocating for digital solutions. Afizulazha Abdullah, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of CelcomDigi, emphasized the importance of digitalization for growth and announced plans for a larger 5G conference and workshops for micro, small, and medium enterprises nationwide.
