Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. has officially launched the new NX500, CB750, and Transalp with Honda E-Clutch technology in Malaysia. This latest offering will make that there is 5 models offered with Honda E-Clutch technology in Malaysia, which includes CBR650R and CB650R.
Honda E-Clutch offers smoother, more precise shifts for exhilarating rides. It removes the fear of stalling for those on bigger bikes, boosting confidence from day one. For commuters and new riders, it eliminates clutch lever stress, making journeys more comfortable.
Honda NX500 with Honda E-Clutch

A versatile adventure bike that combines comfort and practicality. Its 471cc engine delivers 37kW of power and 45Nm of torque, featuring Honda Selectable Torque Control for better traction. Weighing 199kg with an 830mm seat height, the NX500 is ideal for daily riding and light off-road use.

Honda CB750 with Honda E-Clutch

The CB750 combines Honda’s E-Clutch with Throttle-By-Wire (TBW) for sporty performance. Its 755cc parallel-twin engine produces 67.5kW and 75Nm on a lightweight frame with Showa 41mm forks and Pro-Link rear suspension. TBW offers five riding modes—SPORT, RAIN, STANDARD, USER 1, and USER 2—along with adjustments for traction control, wheelie control, and engine braking, allowing you to customize performance for different conditions.

Honda Transalp with Honda E-Clutch

Built for riders who travel from city streets to open roads and more, the Transalp mixes long-distance comfort with real adventure ability. Its 755cc Unicam parallel-twin engine delivers 67.5kW and 75Nm, and with the throttle-by-wire (TBW), it offers six riding modes: SPORT, STANDARD, RAIN, GRAVEL, and two USER settings.

For 2026, the Showa 43mm SFF-CATM USD forks and rear shock have adjustable compression and rebound damping, making the Transalp even more versatile on and off the road.
On both the CB750 and Transalp, E-Clutch delivers additional advantages. The integration with TBW enables automatic throttle blipping during downshifts for smoother gear changes. The system can detect rear-wheel hop during rapid braking and downshifting, applying controlled clutch slip to improve stability.
On loose surfaces, Honda E-Clutch facilitates smooth upshifts even when the rear wheel is spinning allowing riders to focus more closely on terrain and vehicle control. USD forks and rear shock also feature compression and rebound damping adjustment, further broadening its ability to adapt to both road and off-road riding.
“ Our goal with Honda E-Clutch is simple: to make riding easier and more enjoyable for more customers. By reducing the burden of clutch operation while preserving the excitement and control of a motorcycle, Honda E-Clutch helps riders enjoy every journey with greater confidence and comfort. By expanding Honda E-Clutch across more models, we want more customers to benefit from this technology.” – Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda.
