Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad (Allianz General) has recently introduced their enhanced motor personal accident coverage for both motorcyclists and car drivers.
“At Allianz General, we are committed to providing solutions that prioritise the safety and well-being of motorcyclists and car drivers, as well as their pillion riders and passengers,” said Allianz General Chief Executive Officer, Sean Wang. “These initiatives are part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that Malaysians have access to affordable and comprehensive protection, whether they are on two wheels or four.”
Ride Safer with 2.5x Complimentary Protection
Motorcyclists are very vulnerable on the road because they face many risks. Allianz General wants to help improve their safety. From 3 March 2026 to 31 December 2026, customers who buy or renew an Allianz Motorcycle Plus policy (either Comprehensive or Third Party) will get extra Road Accident Coverage for free.
With this added coverage, riders and their passengers can now receive up to RM25,000 for death or permanent disability from road accidents, instead of the usual RM10,000. The motorcycle must have an engine size of up to 250cc or 12,000 watts.
This extra benefit shows Allianz General’s commitment to protecting motorcyclists and their families, helping them stay safer on the road.
Special Offer on Drive Guard Add-On Coverage
For car drivers, Allianz General is offering an affordable way to enhance their protection with the Drive Guard add-on.
When customers buy or renew an Allianz Private Car Comprehensive policy between 3 March 2026 and 31 December 2026, they can add Drive Guard coverage for just RM5 a year.
Drive Guard offers valuable benefits, including coverage of up to RM50,000 for death or permanent disability from a road accident. It also provides hospital income of RM50 per day for up to 60 days and covers medical expenses up to RM2,000, along with a bereavement allowance of RM2,500.
With Drive Guard, drivers and their passengers can have overall protection, financial support, and peace of mind in case of an accident.
