The launch event was witnessed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kuala Lumpur, who has been supporting the organiser’s of the project. Representatives from the arts and creative industries, media, strategic partners, cultural institutions, invited guests and members of the diplomatic community, also attended the official opening ceremony.

In her opening remarks, Joanne Goh, Founder and CEO of Jazzy Group of Companies, described Algorithmic Organisms 2.0 as an invitation to experience art through a new lens.

“More than a traditional exhibition, it invites audiences into a living audiovisual environment where AI-generated imagery, immersive sound, and digital lifeforms continuously evolve in real time. It challenges the way we experience art, not as passive observers, but as participants within the work itself.” She added that the exhibition reflects Jazzy Group’s ongoing commitment to bringing world-class creative experiences to Malaysia while encouraging meaningful dialogue between art, technology and culture.

A highlight of the opening was the presence of Dutch audiovisual artist and Creative Director 0010×0010 (Ray Tijssen), who unveiled the exhibition and shared insights into the curatorial concept of Algorithmic Organisms 2.0. He emphasized the relationship between technology and creativity, showcasing how technology serves as a medium for emotion and artistic expression.

The ceremony featured a ribbon-cutting by Joanne Goh, Ray Tijssen, and representatives from the presenting partners, officially marking the opening of Algorithmic Organisms 2.0.

Guests were then invited on a guided walkthrough led by Ray Tijssen, who shared the stories and concepts behind the key installations, explaining how AI, immersive sound, and generative visual systems converge to create an ever-evolving audiovisual landscape. This offered visitors a deeper appreciation of the exhibition’s creative philosophy.

The celebration continued into the evening with an exclusive cocktail reception attended by partners, media, artists, and invited guests. Live DJ performances and immersive audiovisual experiences transformed the exhibition into a vibrant gathering celebrating creativity.

Running from 4 to 19 July 2026 at The Grey Box, GMBB Kuala Lumpur, Algorithmic Organisms 2.0 invites visitors into a sensory journey of AI-generated visuals and immersive soundscapes, encouraging observation and reflection.
