34 winners announced at HUAWEI XMAGE Awards Malaysia 2024

HUAWEI Malaysia has recently announced the 34 winners from Malaysia marking their place in the prestigious global mobile photography competition at the XMAGE Awards Ceremony 2024. The ceremony was graced by YBrs. Samuel Lee, Deputy Director General (Promotion) II Tourism Malaysia, underscored Huawei’s commitment to empowering Malaysia’s exceptional photography talents, tourism and culture to the global stage. 

This year, the participants were judged by esteemed professionals which include Nini Yusof – CEO of Media Prima Television Networks & Primeworks Studios, Abeden Mung – Photographer, Bibo Aswan – Fashion & Lifestyle Photographer, and Li Changzhu – Vice President of Smartphone Product Line, Huawei Consumer Business Group. The winners were selected for the most captivating photographic narratives across the newly introduced categories: “Moments”, “Faces”, “So Far So Close,” and “Style”.

Tourism Malaysia’s involvement in the XMAGE Awards highlights the critical role that creative arts and technology play in promoting Malaysia’s cultural richness. The XMAGE Awards are more than just a celebration of photographic talent; it is a reflection of Malaysia’s unique cultural identity and our nation’s ability to inspire creativity on a global scale.

The winners of the HUAWEI XMAGE Awards 2024 Malaysia will be going home with their very own HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra, HUAWEI Pura 70 Pro, HUAWEI FreeClip, and many more. As the national level winner, they will also be in the running for the global competition, which is ongoing until 15 September 2024, with a total cash prize worth up to USD 100,000, and winners may have their work featured on global advertising platforms and HUAWEI Pay transit cards.
