2026 Toyota Hilux unveiled in Thailand with BEV and ICE variant

Toyota Motor Thailand has recently launched the 2026 Hilux, which now featuring a bold new design while retaining its well-known strengths of Quality, Durability, and Reliability (QDR).

The new Hilux is designed to meet diverse customer needs in Asia, offering both traditional fuel (2026, Toyota Hilux, Toyota Hilux Travo Overland and Toyota Hilux Travo Prerunner) and electric options (2026 Toyota Hilux Travo-e), with sales beginning from FY2026. Since its global launch in 1968, the Hilux has built a reputation for reliability across over 195 countries.

This latest version aims to be more than just a utility vehicle, serving as a “Partner For Life” for work, family, and leisure. Engineered for exceptional usability, it’s durable for heavy tasks but comfortable for urban driving and light adventures. Hilux continues to evolve alongside its drivers, supporting everyone from farmers to families.

The new Hilux was developed through a partnership between teams in Thailand and Australia, combining regional insight with advanced design capability.

The 9th-generation Hilux is designed for diverse environments, featuring enhanced body rigidity, refined suspension, and Electric Power Steering (EPS) for a comfortable driving experience. In line with Toyota’s aim for carbon neutrality, the new Hilux offers Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variants, tailored to local market needs.

The BEV variant (2026 Toyota Hilux Travo-e) provides instant torque and silent operation while preserving essential off-road capabilities, towing, and payload capacity, ensuring it meets the needs of both professionals and lifestyle users.
