ASUS Republic of Gamers Malaysia has launched the new Zephyrus G14 and G16 ultraportable gaming laptops, powered by the latest Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA chips, ideal for creatives and professionals. The laptops feature a ROG Nebula HDR OLED display with 1100 nits peak brightness and a CNC-milled aluminum chassis for a premium experience.
The 2026 ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 feature advanced ROG Intelligent Cooling for optimal performance with minimal noise, equipped with up to a quad-heatpipe cooling system and a vapor chamber, respectively. They utilize Tri-fan Technology and a redesigned bottom panel for improved ventilation, ensuring they remain cool under load.
Both models are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, offering flexibility from low power to peak performance, with up to 50 TOPS of NPU performance for AI tasks. The G14 features up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, while the G16 can include up to an RTX 5090, leveraging the latest NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and advanced features like DLSS 4.
Additionally, the G14 is available with the AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 processor, delivering 50 TOPS of NPU performance, making all models Copilot+ PCs for efficient local AI processing.
All of the 2026 Zephyrus G14 and G16 models feature an upgraded OLED display with the ROG Nebula HDR badge, providing exceptional HDR, fluid motion, and vivid imagery. These displays reach up to 1100 nits peak brightness, making them the brightest in gaming laptops. The G14 offers a 3K/120Hz display while the G16 boasts a 2.5K/240Hz display, both supporting NVIDIA GSYNC and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. They meet the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 standard for lifelike HDR content and have a Delta E <1 for color accuracy. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen from scratches, ensuring a great viewing experience.
Additionally, the six-speaker audio system enhances immersion, and an ambient lighting sensor optimizes screen brightness. The upgraded EasyLift hinge allows for a smoother opening experience.
The Zephyrus G14 redefines ultraportable gaming laptops with its CNC-milled aluminum chassis available in Platinum White and Eclipse Grey. Weighing just 1.5kg, it’s ideal for on-the-go gamers and creators. The G16 offers more screen space at 1.85kg while still being easy to transport.
Both models feature an upgraded Slash Lighting array with 35 customizable zones for intricate animations. With advanced I/O including dual USB-C ports supporting Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, and a card reader, they support a versatile mobile workspace. Enhanced with Bluetooth 6.0 and WiFi 7, the Zephyrus G14 and G16 are compact yet powerful.
