PROTON has launched the PROTON X70 Sport Edition (SE), a limited and enhanced edition of its established C-segment SUV.
Based on the Premium variant and limited to 600 units only, the PROTON X70 Sport Edition comes with 10 exclusive upgrades designed to elevate its visual appeal and everyday usability. For the exterior, the model adopts a more assertive stance with a full aerokit that includes front, side, and rear skirts. This is further complemented by black 19-inch alloy wheels and exclusive Sport Edition badging, further distinguishing it within the X70 lineup, reinforcing a confident and premium road presence.
Within the cabin, thoughtful upgrades boost its premium feel. Red stitching on the steering wheel and armrest, along with seats featuring Sport Edition logos, create a more driver-focused atmosphere. A boot tray adds practicality for everyday use.
The PROTON X70 SPORT EDITION has a 1.5TD 4-cylinder engine with a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission. It offers a smooth driving experience, providing comfort and confidence on different road conditions.
Inside, the model maintains its suite of intelligent technologies aimed at enhancing both convenience and connectivity. A 12.3-inch infotainment head unit with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sits at the centre of the experience, supported by the “Hi PROTON” voice command system and PROTON Link 2.0 application for seamless digital integration.
For safety, the PROTON X70 Sport Edition is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2, comprising 13 safety features. This comprehensive suite enhances situational awareness and driving support through features such as Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), among others, ensuring greater confidence on every journey.
The brand has stated the product upgrades to the PROTON X70 Sport Edition is worth at RM6,000 with availability limited to 600 units.
