PROTON has officially launched the 2026 PROTON X70 with improvements developed by strengthening the areas that matter most throughout the ownership period.
For 2026, the PROTON X70 is now powered by the i-GT 4-cylinder 1.5TD engine, paired with a 7-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission. It delivers 181 PS and 290 Nm torque while offering 6.9L/100km. The C-Segment SUV has been refined to offer confident road manners and a composed driving experience across both urban environments and highway cruising—making it well-suited for daily family use as well as longer journeys.

Care – Confidence and Peace of Mind Safety remains a key focus for the 2026 PROTON X70, which is equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2 comprising 13 safety features. This comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies provides enhanced situational awareness and support through features such as Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), among others. Combined with PROTON’s nationwide aftersales network of 172 authorised 3S and 4S outlets, supported by strong spare parts availability, the X70 is designed to offer peace of mind not only on the road, but throughout ownership.

Every purchase of the 2026 PROTON X70 comes with a helpful Standard Package for confidence and connectivity from day one. This includes Pro-Warranty_, which offers a 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage and six free labor services. It also includes Pro-Connect_, providing a 5-year data package with 2GB each month, so you can easily access connected features throughout your ownership. Plus, there’s Pro-Finance*, offering financing options for up to 9 years, with interest rates starting from 2.2% per year.
To enhance the ownership experience, PROTON is offering a Special Launch Package for the first 1,500 customers who register their 2026 PROTON X70 by 31 March 2026. Eligible customers can enjoy ProTrade-In_, with an extra support of up to RM2,000 when they trade in their old vehicles.
They can also choose the PROTON Insurance Programme, Pro-Shield_, which provides better protection, including Special Perils coverage and enhanced flood relief coverage of up to RM2,000, along with personal accident coverage of up to RM15,000 for up to 4 passengers. Moreover, PROTON is introducing 1-Day Service Delivery_, where vehicles will be returned within 24 hours whether customers walk in or book ahead. If repairs take more than three working days_, PROTON service centers will provide a relief car and a one-time free service (including parts and labor), ensuring minimal inconvenience and showing PROTON’s commitment to support owners throughout their ownership.
