2024 Lotus Eletre S and Eletre R variant now arrives in Malaysia

Lotus Cars Malaysia has introduced a new 2024 variant of the Eletre, priced at RM598,800 as an entry-level model. This variant offers buyers a more affordable option compared to the Eletre S and Eletre R. The Eletre maintains the same performance capabilities as its higher-tier counterparts, with a single-speed system delivering 603 hp and 710 Nm of torque, achieving 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 258 km/h. It also boasts a maximum WLTP driving range of 600 km. In terms of charging, the Eletre is equipped with a 112 kWh battery and a 350 kW charger that allows rapid charging from 10% to 80% in just 20 minutes.

The Eletre offers a distinct character with its level of trim and equipment, featuring 20-inch 5-spoke aero alloy wheels and four-piston brake calipers. Customers have the option to upgrade to 22-inch Grey Diamond Turned wheels and six-piston calipers for an additional cost. The Eletre also comes with a comprehensive suite of intelligent Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and top-flight in-car entertainment, including features like Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Blind Spot Detection.

In terms of customization, buyers can choose from a range of exterior colors, including Akoya White and Cinnabar Red. The Eletre is available for on-the-road purchase in Peninsular Malaysia, with a five-year/150,000km manufacturer’s warranty and an eight-year/200,000km warranty for the battery.
