Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia has made a big stride in Malaysia after being emerging as Malaysia’s No.1 premium EV brand based on its 2026 performance year-to-date.
In April 2026, Zeekr registered 357 EVs, bringing its total for the year to 1,214 units. This makes Zeekr the top Premium EV brand in Malaysia, surpassing others like Tesla, and the fourth best-selling EV brand overall.
Thanks to Malaysian customers seeking premium electric mobility solutions, it has contributed to Zeekr’s strong year-to-date performance.
After less than two years in Malaysia, Zeekr has recorded a cumulative sales volume (of all-time) of 3,849 units, comprising 2,509 units of the Zeekr 7X, 1,166 units of the Zeekr 009, and 174 units of the Zeekr X.
Zeekr is the top premium electric vehicle (EV) brand in Malaysia for 2026. The Zeekr 7X is the best-selling premium electric SUV, while the Zeekr 009 is the top premium electric MPV in Malaysia.
In April, the Zeekr 7X sold 303 units, significantly outpacing the Tesla Model Y, which only sold 67 units. So far this year, the Zeekr 7X is the 4th best-selling EV in Malaysia, with a total of 999 units sold since January 2026. In contrast, the Tesla Model Y has sold only 371 units this year.
The Zeekr 009 sold 51 units in April, bringing its total for 2026 to 204 units, making it the top premium MPV model in Malaysia this year. Overall, since its launch, the Zeekr 009 has sold 1,166 units.
Another key area to highlight on Zeekr Malaysia is the dealer network expansion as it now has 10 showrooms and four service centres across nationwide.
