YouZenAn, the Malaysian wellness brand rooted in floral heritage and self-care rituals, has recently hosted House of YouZenAn to launch their latest product offering, 7 Bunga Radiance Oil. The event is a three-day activation from 20 to 22 August and was held at an intimate private venue in Kuala Lumpur.
Founded and proudly made in Malaysia, 7 Bunga Radiance Oil is inspired by mandi bunga, a traditional seven-flower bath used for self-care, cleansing, and renewal in Southeast Asia.
This lightweight, fast-absorbing dry oil is free from parabens, mineral oils, synthetic dyes, and alcohol. It offers a modern twist on a traditional practice, focusing on natural beauty and local craftsmanship for everyday self-care. It can be used alone for a natural glow or layered over your usual skincare on your face, body, hair, or beard without feeling greasy.
The launch was a special beauty event where guests explored the story behind 7 Bunga through different sensory experiences. A central part of the event was a scent discovery bar featuring the seven botanical extracts in the formula: ylang ylang, white champaca, blue lotus, jasmine sambac, tuberose, rose maroc, and neroli. There were also product demonstrations and relaxing spa sessions that showcased the brand’s philosophy.
Guests enjoyed a custom tea selection inspired by YouZenAn’s herbal tea range, with each blend chosen to match their mood. The three-day event saw a great turnout, including notable attendees like Joanne Kam, Ning Baizura, and friends of Datin Catherine, along with lifestyle media, fashion editors, and socialites. Their presence showed the growing interest in Malaysian-made beauty products that emphasize natural, heritage-inspired values.
The experience also included a meet-and-greet with founder Datin Catherine Lai, who shared the deeply personal story behind the brand. “As a third generation Malaysian, I grew up surrounded by the flowers my grandmother and mother used in their own rituals of care. 7 Bunga is my way of bringing that heritage home, not as something old fashioned, but as something we can return to every day. This launch means the world to me because it is a legacy I am building for my sons, Alexander and Adrian, and for a new generation rediscovering what has always been ours,” she said.
