Yoodo to offer more exciting services and events support for 2020

If you’re unaware what is Yoodo in Malaysia, well you should know who they are after reading this article. Launched in January 2018, Yoodo is an independent digital mobile service that is owned and operated by Celcom Axiata Berhad. It offers the country’s first truly customisable mobile service with complete transparency, flexibility and customer convenience. In 2020, the telco is celebrating their 2nd anniversary.

In conjunction of the 2nd anniversary as well, Yoodo just unveiled 20 exciting announcements that focused on a new brand logo as well as new product innovations, esports, active sports and promos.

New service plans for you, Malaysian!

To kickstart 2020, Yoodo have few plans that cater to every Malaysian. First off is Renew Anytime, Yoodo stated they’re the only telco in Malaysia to allow users to completely customise the data, voice and SMS of their mobile plans anywhere and at any time without having to complete the full month cycle.

The next service is Power Pass, a flexible data booster that offers 100GB of data for 60 mins at RM2. While for users that is busy with games and video streaming, Yoodo also unveiled new data add-ons for TikTok, Viu, Call of Duty Mobile, Boost and also teased an add-on for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

For those travelers, there is even a better news for you as Yoodo is introducing the newly enhanced Roam Like Home, which now offers a 3-day and 7-day pass. With this plan, users can take their personalised local mobile plan abroad for lower than RM5 per day. In addition to that, Yoodo has launched Yoodo Rewards. Customers that have purchased a total of 10 Add-Ons will get 1 free and those who have purchased 10 days worth of Roam Like Home passes will get 1 additional day free.

Last but not least, Yoodo is bringing back the highly requested 20GB for RM20 promotion that is available now for all users. Better be quick as campaign period starts from 17 March and ends on 31 May 2020.

Supporting games: Online and offline

Yoodo is announcing they would be sponsoring and organising a series of thrilling esports tournaments across 2020. These tournaments include 2020 editions of the highly popular Player Unknown’s Battleground (PUBG MOBILE) National Championship (PMNC) and the PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship (PMCC). Not only that, Yoodo is also the Official Digital Telco sponsor for the on-going ESL MY Championship 2020 – Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League – Malaysia & Singapore Season 5 and the brand new national level competitive fighting game competition the Yoodo FV Major 2020. So gamers, prepare to join the e-sports tournament!

Although the current trend is heading to e-sports, Yoodo is not forgetting about “real” sports as well. Yoodo will return again as the Official Digital Telco for the Malaysia Premier Futsal League. Yoodo will also serve as the Official Digital Broadcast Partner for the league, exclusively broadcasting 30 matches on their YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/c/yoodomy).
