
Xiaomi has confirmed the Mi Watch is available for Malaysia market from January 20. The smartwatch will be priced for RM469 and most likely to target users with active lifestyles of all kinds.
The smartwatch features a 1.39’’ bright AMOLED panel that can deliver 450 nits of brightness and along with a dedicated sports button on the side. What is more interesting on the Mi Watch, it offers 117 exercise modes that can cater to a wide variety of fitness lover to monitor their progress. Health monitoring on the device is possible thanks to six different sensors and GPS to offer key health metrics and environmental data, for example, heart rate, blood oxygen level, and air pressure. The watch is certified to 5 ATM standards hence is water resistant
to a depth of up to 50m, making it wearable during swims, rain, and in the shower.
Xiaomi is claiming the smartwatch can offers an outstanding 16 days of battery life with two hours of charging. Charging is via a magnetic charging dock. Additionally, Mi Watch supports an array of features including over 100 watch faces, camera remote function, native emojis on notifications, voice control, and more.Â
