WhiskyPLUS is returning for its sixth Kuala Lumpur edition and ninth edition overall at Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur in PJ Section 16 on 26 October 2024.
This year’s WhiskyPLUS will feature two spectacular sessions, each offering a diverse array of whiskies and spirits from brand owners, along with Malaysia’s top importers, distributors, and retailers. Visitors can enjoy the spacious 7,200-square-foot main tasting room and embark on a journey of unlimited tastings, exploring a wide selection of whisky brands and expressions to suit every palate.
A new addition to the 2024 event, WhiskyPLUS is introducing spirits tasting masterclasses highlighting the award-winning spirits of the Archie Rose Distilling Co. in Sydney, Australia. Having garnered over 400 domestic and international awards in just a decade, Archie Rose is renowned for its craftsmanship and innovation. However, these masterclasses are exclusively available for VIP guests, provide a unique opportunity to enhance their understanding of whisky and other spirits.
Complementing the tasting experience, guests can indulge in specially curated set meal boxes and immerse themselves in guided tasting sessions, the VIP Lounges, and the highly coveted Collector’s Corner. This exclusive space offers a rare selection of old and limited-edition whiskies, available for purchase by the dram. Guests can savour these unique whiskies in a reserved area for connoisseurs seeking a truly elevated experience.
With a broad range of participating brands, including independent bottlers and new-to-market expressions, whisky enthusiasts will discover familiar favourites and exciting new labels. Visitors can explore whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Australia, Japan, India, and

For those seeking a refreshing break from whisky tasting, WhiskyPLUS also offers a fine selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Thanks to Monin, Mister Coffee, and Spritzer, guests can enjoy delicious mocktails, premium coffee drinks, and chilled sparkling water throughout the event.
WhiskyPLUS also expands beyond whisky, with an impressive cigar booth located just outside the main tasting room. Guests can browse a carefully curated range of hand-rolled cigars, both Cuban and non-Cuban, and choose from affordable options or more luxurious selections. The
Eastin Hotel’s inviting cigar lounge provides the perfect setting for a relaxing moment while enjoying a fine cigar.
Guests can choose between Standard and VIP entry for each session. Both options come with a commemorative Glencairn-style whisky tasting glass emblazoned with the WhiskyPLUS 2024 logo. Each attendee will also receive a whisky glass holder lanyard, making it easy to navigate
the event hands-free.
This year’s WhiskyPLUS is once again organised and hosted by TEG Media. While all guests will enjoy unlimited spirits sampling, VIP pass holders will have access to an exclusive range of premium whiskies and entry to the VIP Lounges, where additional surprises await to enhance their experience.
To ensure an enjoyable and immersive experience for all, WhiskyPLUS is capacity-controlled, with limited tickets available for each session. Session 1 will run from 12pm to 4:30pm, and Session 2 from 5:30pm to 10pm, both offering similar experiences with potential variations in exhibitor offerings. Guests are encouraged to choose the session that best fits their schedule.
