iQIYI has announced that War of Faith 长风破浪 which stars including Wang Yibo 王一博, Li Qin 李沁, and Wayne Wang 王阳, is streaming exclusively on its platform from 21 March 2024.
War of Faith narrates the story of Shanghai in 1930. Wei Ruolai (starring Wang Yibo), a central bank employee, earns the admiration of senior consultant Shen Tunan (starring Wayne Wang) for his outstanding abilities at work. However, after witnessing the corruption and darkness in the financial sector, he falls into despair. Guided by Shen Jinzhen (starring Li Qin), he finds inner enlightenment and eventually parts ways with Shen Tunan. As arranged by the organization, Wei Ruolai and Shen Jinzhen relocate to Jiangxi and become involved in the war, gradually growing into influential financiers on the frontlines. This drama will take viewers through time and space, allowing them to experience the tumultuous events and character development of that era.
War of Faith will be available on iQIYI (APP and iq.com) from 21 March 2024.
