Vuse Street Covers has recently collaborated Malaysian rap artist Zamaera and Malaysian producer Daaliah for the launch of latest single “Big Fish” and worldwide music video premier.
This unique platform, which was started last year in 5 countries including UK, Spain, Dubai, Colombia, and South Africa as part of Vuse’s 10-year anniversary, unearths and spotlights musicians operating outside of the mainstream and partners them with local artists to propel these rising stars to the height of their talent.

With the launch of Vuse Street Covers in Malaysia last December, Vuse has selected two local talents, Zamaera, a rap artist, and Lowkey, a graffiti artist, to drive the story of Vuse Street Covers as a platform to uncover rising talents locally and give them a stage to shine on.

Zamaera’s latest single, “Big Fish,” explores the theme of breaking out of one’s comfort zone. Written and composed by Zamaera and Daaliah, the song addresses the challenges of feeling like a “big fish in a small pond” and the desire to venture beyond familiar boundaries.

The song draws inspiration from the UK’s early 90s electronic house music sub-genre called ‘Garage.’ Zamaera aims to bring a fresh perspective to Malaysian music by infusing elements of this influential genre.
As part of Vuse Street Covers ongoing commitment to the Malaysian music and art scene, there is a series of events and opportunities for fans to meet and be entertained by the musician as well as the artist discovered on the platform.
Fans can follow Zamaera and Lowkey’s journey and discover how they can be part of Vuse Street Covers in Malaysia through social media via the Vuse Street Covers Instagram and YouTube channels, or search their favourite social media platforms for these hashtags: #VuseStreetCovers, #VuseStreetCoversMY and #VSCxBigFish.
