
Viu Malaysia hosted a Royal Night-themed celebration, celebrating two milestones in youth entertainment: the finale of the beloved Putri & Phrince and the premiere of the anticipated Puteri Kelas Atas.
As Putri & Phrince wraps up on 25 & 26 September, it perfectly coincides with the debut of Puteri Kelas Atas on 23 September. These series highlight Viu’s dedication to relevant, locally grounded storytelling for Malaysia’s Gen Z audience.
A Night of Stories, Stars and Sound
The celebration featured live performances from Universal Music Malaysia artists:
● Valerayy opened with high-energy flair,
● Killa Driz delivered a pop-hip hop set,
● and Ismail Izzani closed with a soulful finale that resonated with fans.
Guests were treated to curated delights from SimplySiti, Vanilla Crepe, The Bao Guys, Famous Amos, Cornetto, and Vida Drinks, creating a multisensory experience that elevated the evening.

Directed by Tam Suhaimi, Puteri Kelas Atas updates the fairytale for today’s audience. Starring Emma Sofea as Tunku Fatima Amelia, the series follows a young royal who leaves palace life to attend a boarding school, but finds that freedom has its own challenges.
Amelia’s journey is shaped by her encounters with:

● Iqbal (Jay Iskandar), the head prefect who pushes her boundaries,
