Vespa has officially launched the new Vespa Sprint S with TFT Dashboard in Malaysia during a live virtual launch by Didi. The new model aims to give riders an elevated icon of dynamic and sophisticated design, mixing a fashionable attitude with connectivity features. Let’s learn more about the new model at below.

Vespa Sprint S 2021 is powered by the one-cylinder four-stroke 150 iGet engines, air-cooled and equipped with electronic injection and 3-valve distribution. Vespa has told that each detail from the exhaust to the inner structure of the transmission casing was designed to provide a smooth, quiet, and comfortable ride. The control unit contains a barometric sensor, which ensures always optimum combustion under all conditions and at all altitudes. The engine power and torque delivered thus reach new levels of steadiness and reliability, also in city traffic.

For the TFT (Thin-Films Transitors) screen on the Vespa Sprint, it sets to deliver users the ultimate experience with enhanced connectivity to the smartphone with the VESPA MIA system.

For those who doesn’t know about VESPA MIA connectivity system, it allows riders to connect your smartphone to the on-board electronic system of the Vespa Sprint S via Bluetooth. VESPA MIA and the new Vespa App are specifically designed to connect iOS or Android mobile devices. Once connected, the TFT display will show all notifications regarding incoming calls and messages in the centre of the screen. The system also allows for the management of calls, thanks to the practical joystick located on the left-hand control block.

According to Italian Vespa Design Center, Bronzo Antico steel body presents a precious futuristic theme to be admired daily, enhanced by the contrasting black finishing that adds more exclusivity to this upfront combination. Its complementary is a hyper sophisticated Nero Opaco with bronze finishing; a high note for those who appreciate the beauty of the modernity. The diamond-shaped saddle design adds a major touch of luxury to the bike, a fashion statement in motion.

The LED lighting technology, now adopted for both the front headlight and the rear light, boosts active safety. For the rims, it features matt black (on bronze body) and bronze (on black body) on the new Vespa Sprint. Along with the dedicated sticker on the rim, it creates the perfect charm to attract attentions.

Didi has confirmed with the media and public that the official selling price for Vespa Sprint S with TFT in Malaysia is RM19,900 and available nationwide.
