The scooter now has an updated looks thanks to a redesigned shield, at the centre of which is the unmistakeable horn cover, now longer and enhanced with three decorations. The seat finishing has two-colour stitching and able to ensure greater comfort for both rider and passenger. Inside the glove box, there is a USB port to charge electronic devices.
The scooter also has a new 278.3 cc 4-stroke, 4-valve single-cylinder engine which is called 300 HPE (High Performance Engine). It produces peak power of 23.8hp at 8,250 rpm and delivers a smooth torque of 26 Nm at 5,250 rpm. Together with the latest-generation Magneti Marelli MIUG4 ECU, you can expect the scooter to have improved overall engine efficiency compared to the predecessor. The scooter is also conform with Euro 5 standard.
Thanks to VESPA MIA smartphone connectivity system, riders can use their smartphone to connect to scooter via Bluetooth and the fully digital instrument cluster with 4.3″ full colour TFT display will show all notifications regarding incoming calls and messages in the centre of the screen. With that, you can control your calls, music and even becoming a navigation tool with the system. Navigation on the colour TFT display will display directions and pictograms.
For safety features, the GTS has front and rear disc brake with ABS. Along with that, ASR electronic traction control is available as standard on the scooter to prevent wheelspin. Seasoned riders have the option to turn off the traction control. Other safety features come as standard as well are Full LED lighting (front and rear) with day running light and immobiliser will provide any rider a peace of mind when riding long journey.
