Unitrade join forces with Huawei Malaysia and JJ- LAPP for solar energy system

Unitrade Industries Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Syarikat Logam Unitrade Sdn Bhd (SLUSB), has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Malaysia and JJ-LAPP (M) Sdn Bhd. This collaboration aims to explore the business opportunities under Huawei’s cutting-edge Digital Power-Smart Photovoltaic (“PV”) solutions in fostering sustainability practices across residential as well as commercial and industrial (“C&I”) sectors.

The Smart PV system seamlessly integrates digital technologies into solar power systems for optimised energy generation and enhanced efficiency, as well as in facilitating remote monitoring and management of solar power systems. This advancement in energy digitalisation paves the way for a more reliable and efficient energy ecosystem.

Under the MoU, Huawei Malaysia will act as the technology advisor for the Smart PV systems, complemented by JJ-LAPP as the authorised value-added partner to enhance the reach and impact of the solutions within the targeted segments. Meanwhile, leveraging Unitrade’s expertise as a wholesaler and distributor, the Group will serve as the distribution partner in facilitating broader market access for the Smart PV systems.
