UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has opened a new 3S centre in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak, operated by Borneo Mobility (Samarahan) Sdn Bhd. The strategically located facility is 30KM southeast of Kuching and will meet the increasing demand for Toyota vehicles and services in the area, serving a population of over 130,000 people.
Kota Samarahan, known as the “Town of Knowledge,” has seen notable growth with educational institutions like Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), as well as new residential areas, commercial centers, and infrastructure projects. Borneo Mobility (Samarahan) Sdn Bhd, a UMWT dealer since 2020, now has a strong presence in the region. The new 3S centre with five service bays will enhance aftersales care for Toyota customers and boost Borneo Mobility’s sales volume by 12%.
“This new 3S service centre is just our way of bringing our brand closer to our customers, wherever they may be, while ensuring they have seamless access to our services whenever they need them,” said Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor.
The new 3S centre is located at Lot 9040-9043, Block 26, 15-20 Uni Alam Commercial Centre, Jalan Datuk Mohamad Musa, 94300 Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. Its operating hours are from 8:00am – 5:30pm on Monday to Friday, and 8:00am – 1:00pm on Saturday.
