U Mobile expands ULTRA5G experience to Bangi, Putrajaya, and Petaling Jaya New Town

U Mobile has launched the ULTRA5G experience in Bangi, Putrajaya, and Petaling Jaya New Town, enabling seamless connectivity for customers throughout these areas.

U Mobile’s Chief Technology Officer, Woon Ooi Yuen, said, “U Mobile is excited that our ULTRA5G experience, powered by both 5G Standalone and 5G Non-Standalone technologies, is now available to our customers in Bangi, Putrajaya and Petaling Jaya New Town. We are committed to bring the deepest and widest 5G coverage to all Malaysians. Since the start of our deployment, we have already brought our 5G-Advanced technology network to not only these three outdoor clusters, but also indoors in 30 buildings, with many more to come.”

He adds that with ULTRA5G being made available in the various locations, the residents or professionals working in the private or public sector in these areas will now be able to enjoy enhanced experiences such as crystal-clear video calls, seamless streaming and gaming, even in crowded environments. The company is also looking to drive businesses in these areas to fully leverage the benefits of 5G technology with relevant solutions to enhance business efficiency and productivity.

PutrajayaULTRA5G is now available across Putrajaya, covering the vast majority of its precincts and key administrative zones, supporting public sector innovation.The new outdoor coverage footprint includes areas surrounding prominent landmarks such as Seri Perdana Complex and the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC).In addition, ULTRA5G also extends to major public spaces including Putrajaya Botanical Garden, Taman Wetland Putrajaya, Putrajaya Lake, Seri Gemilang Bridge, Seri Wawasan Bridge as well as commercial and residential areas across all precincts.
PJ New TownULTRA5G is available from Kampung Sungai Way to PJ New Town, covering Seksyen 51A, Jalan 222, PJ New Town and Seksyen 52 (around Taman Jaya LRT and nearby amenities), enhancing the digital experience for customers who live, work and play in this matured residential and commercial area.
