Typo unveils world-first concept store in Malaysia

Typo has launched its first concept store at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, Shop G8A Lebuh IRC, Selangor Darul Ehsan. This store marks a new chapter for Typo, showcasing the brand’s evolution while celebrating the magic that defines it. Inspired by how a simple piece of paper can become a plan, a dream, a doodle, or a moment of joy, the new concept embraces creativity in all forms.

Typo is celebrating the opening of its new store at IOI City Mall from April 2nd to 5th by offering free treats to customers. The new store features an open and immersive layout designed as a creative playground, encouraging visitors to explore its unique offerings. While stationery remains central to the brand, the new collection emphasizes elevated quality and usability, catering to activities like journaling and sketching. Additionally, a broader lifestyle collection that enhances everyday life with colorful and fun pieces is introduced alongside the stationery.

Scott Druce, General Manager Typo, said the launch reflects both the brand’s growth strategy and its commitment to helping customers express what makes them extraordinary.

“We chose Malaysia for our first new Typo concept store because it’s a growing market for us and the customer here is really engaged with the brand. It felt like the right place to start this next chapter. You’ll see a step up across everything, from the product to the store experience, but it’s still very much Typo at its core. We’re excited to open at IOI and see how customers respond to what we’re building,” said Druce.

Malaysia’s vibrant creative energy made it the ideal location to launch Typo’s new concept store, with the market showing a strong connection to the brand’s customer community.
