TUDOR has teamed up with Swiss Watch recently to launched their brand new boutique at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya. The TUDOR boutique sits in a prominent area of 1 Utama’s newly renovated wing and welcomes all customers to immerse in the world of TUDOR. Anchored by the brand’s three iconic colours—black, red and white—the TUDOR boutique is designed to possess a bold and distinctive character, one that best represents the identity of the brand’s timepieces.
The grand opening of the boutique was held on 24 May 2022 with approximately 150 guests in attendance. Hosted by Cay Kuijpers, attendees were entertained by world-renowned multiple-award winning percussion ensemble, Hands Percussion, for an exciting 7-min drum performance.
The main highlight of the night is the upbeat performance by Yung Raja, a renowned hip-hop artist and shooting star from Singapore. With breakthroughs in the region and mentions globally, the Tamil-English rapper also brought a first-of-its-kind Tanglish feature on the stage, performing hits such as Mustafa and The Dance Song, mesmerizing guests and fans with his 20-min special performance alongside DJ Luq Here.
Amidst an eclectic set of music by DJ Luq Here and customised cocktails and mocktails prepared especially for the event, guests were also invited to discover the new TUDOR 2022 watches in-person at the new boutique.
Mr. Mukesh Valiram, Executive Director of Valiram, Mr. Ian Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Valiram, Mr. Cla Riedi, General Manager of Tudor Southeast Asia and Ms. Teo Chui Ping Executive Director of 1 Utama was present to officiate the grand affair with a toast. In his opening speech, Mukesh Valiram elaborated that the opening of the new TUDOR 1 Utama store represents a landmark moment for Swiss Watch. “Since the first TUDOR standalone store in Pavilion KL seven years ago, we have always believed in the brand. This amazing partnership with TUDOR will continue to expand in the region.” shared the Executive Director of Valiram.
