TQ WULING has launched the TQ WULING Porta EV, a fully electric panel van designed for Malaysian businesses that need a practical, cost-effective, and eco-friendly option for daily transport.
The Porta EV comes in two versions, with ranges of 300km and 400km, and is part of TQ WULING’s electric vehicle lineup focused on commercial use. It is aimed at large fleet managers, multinational companies, logistics providers, retailers, service businesses, and small to medium-sized companies in Malaysia.
This new van offers a roomy cargo space, good payload capacity, fast-charging options, and specially developed electric technology, helping businesses save on running and maintenance costs over time.
The Porta EV is available in two variants:

Built For the Business Day
Designed as a large panel van, the Porta EV is 5,010 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,975 mm tall for the 400km model, and 1,960 mm tall for the 300km model, both having a wheelbase of 3,050 mm.
The cargo space is 2,830 mm long, 1,680 mm wide, and 1,365 mm high, offering up to 6.5 cubic meters of space for various delivery, logistics, and commercial uses.
The Porta EV is built for easy loading and efficient handling of goods, featuring important elements like:
- Up to 1,105 kg maximum payload on the 400km variant
- 777 mm-wide dual sliding side doors
- 270-degree opening rear barn doors
- 595 mm loading height
- 83% ultra-high-strength steel monocoque body
The wide rear barn doors enable direct forklift access to the cargo area and can fit a standard pallet size of 1,100 × 1,100 mm, with a rear door opening of 1,366 mm. The low loading height of 595 mm also makes it easier to load and unload goods.
Efficient Electric Powertrain
The TQ WULING Porta EV features a 75kW silicon-carbide (SiC) electric motor providing 180 Nm of torque, ideal for urban driving.
It utilizes WULING’s MAGIC EV Battery technology, designed for structural integrity and durability, having passed various safety tests. The battery’s innovative design enhances strength by over 60% and allows individual cells to be serviced or replaced, potentially cutting maintenance costs by up to 90%. MAGIC Battery technology powers over 3 million new-energy vehicles without incidents of fire or explosion.
The Porta EV supports AC charging for overnight use and DC fast charging for quick daytime top-ups.

The combination of DC fast charging and AC charging allows businesses to incorporate charging into a variety of operating environments, from commercial premises and depots to overnight charging at dedicated facilities.

Recognising that commercial vehicles spend long hours on the road, the Porta EV combines structural protection with a range of active and passive safety equipment, including:

The driver-focused cabin includes a 3.5-inch TFT instrument display, adjustable seats, air conditioning, and an 8-inch infotainment system with Bluetooth, MP3, and USB connectivity.

The Porta EV is designed to lower the ongoing costs of maintaining a commercial vehicle. It needs scheduled servicing every six months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first, with servicing costs under RM2,000 over five years.
This could save businesses over 65% compared to regular diesel vans, making it easier to manage long-term fleet costs.
The Porta EV’s service intervals are set every six months or 10,000 km. For operators with multiple vehicles, this shorter maintenance schedule can help with better fleet planning and vehicle use.

Aftersales support is provided through the Tan Chong Ekspress Auto Servis (TCEAS) network, with 28 service centres nationwide trained to service TQ WULING vehicles.
