This 2024 Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective highlights showcase exceptional creativity, skill and unparalleled artistry

In 2024, Rolls-Royce has delivered a handful of 2024 Rolls-Royce Bespoke masterpiece, bringing life to some of the most creative and ambitious examples of artistry ever seen. To appreciate these masterpiece, relive the highlights of 2024 Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective at below.

PHANTOM SCINTILLA

This exclusive Private Collection features only 10 examples worldwide, showcasing the beauty and legacy of the Spirit of Ecstasy.

The interior features 869,500 stitches that create a graphic design inspired by her form. The figurine has a special ceramic finish that resembles the Parian marble of The Winged Victory of Samothrace, the Greek statue that led Claude Johnson to create the original mascot in 1910.

The main feature is the Celestial Pulse Gallery, which showcases the Spirit of Ecstasy. This piece consists of seven ribbons with the same ceramic finish as the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. Above it, the Bespoke Starlight Headliner has an animation with 1,500 fibre-optic ‘stars’, inspired by the flowing gown of the Spirit of Ecstasy.

BLACK BADGE GHOST CITY LIGHTS

In this UK commission, the Illuminated Fascia has a custom design that captures a bird’s-eye view of London at night, similar to what you see from an airplane during landing. It features 8,372 laser-etched lights, all carefully placed by hand on a Piano Black veneer surface.

CULLINAN SERIES II – INSPIRED BY ROSE

This beautiful and artistic project was inspired by the Phantom Rose, a unique flower grown only at the Rolls-Royce home in Goodwood.

Custom designers created a special rose design, which was carefully embroidered on the front and back headrests and included in the beautifully hand-painted Coachline.

PHANTOM GOLDFINGER

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the James Bond film Goldfinger, Rolls-Royce created a detailed tribute to the villain’s 1937 Phantom III Sedanca de Ville.

Bespoke specialists carefully recreated the car’s famous black and yellow design. They included unique features that reference key scenes from the movie, such as a gold golf putter inspired by the one Auric Goldfinger used in his famous match against 007, and a solid 18-carat gold speedform in the center console.

Other gold-themed features are gold-plated treadplates with the same font used in the film, a 24-carat gold-plated VIN plaque ending with the number 007, along with gold-finished organ stops, seat bullets, and speaker grilles.

The car also includes a stainless-steel artwork displaying a map of the Furka Pass, where 007 follows Goldfinger to his smelting plant. Additionally, the Starlight Headliner shows the constellations from the night of the final filming. As a special touch, a hidden projector shows the famous ‘007’ logo when the trunk is opened.

SPECTRE LUNAFLAIR

Commissioned by a special client from the United States, the Spectre Lunaflair takes inspiration from a lunar halo, which is a bright ring around the moon caused by moonlight shining through high-altitude ice crystals.

To recreate this effect, the experts worked for a year to create a special holographic paint, made just for this client. The beautiful ‘rainbow’ effect comes from applying seven layers of lacquer, including a pearlescent layer with tiny flakes of magnesium fluoride and aluminum. This gives a rich metallic look in low light that shines in rainbow colors under bright sunlight.

The design of the Spectre Lunaflair was also influenced by another unique Rolls-Royce creation, the one-of-a-kind Phantom Syntopia. Fascinated by the Phantom Syntopia’s shiny Liquid Noir finish, the client asked for a brighter version that showed their interest in lunar halos. This blend of ideas showcases the creativity of the Bespoke team at Rolls-Royce.

GHOST EXTENDED SERIES II – THE ENCOUNTER

This beautiful Ghost Extended Series II celebrates 120 years since its founders met on May 4, 1904. The special design includes many nods to The Hon. Charles Stewart Rolls and Henry Royce, such as their initials stitched into the headrests, their signatures on the C-pillar, and the date they first met featured in the coachline design.

The interior uses Duality Twill, a new fabric made from bamboo, which is decorated with a ‘Duality’ graphic – a creative take on the linked R initials of the founders.

PHANTOM YEAR OF THE DRAGON

Commissioned by the Shanghai Private Office, this beautiful Phantom Extended was created to celebrate the Lunar New Year, which starts on 10 February 2024. It represents a mix of international heritage and Chinese culture, a trend called guochao.

Inside, there are special details inspired by the traditional dragon symbol. These features include a unique hand-painted design on the front passenger panel, dragon embroidery on the headrests, a special line design, and the first-ever dragon image in a Bespoke Starlight Headliner, made with 677 ‘stars’.

So, what do you think of the artistic flair by the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective of designers, engineers and craftspeople? The PHANTOM GOLDFINGER is definitely my favourite as I was raised watching James Bond’s films. Which is your favourite and sound it off on the comments!
