The Weeknd has recently wowed over 70,000 fans in São Paulo, Brazil, with a sold-out one-night-only event at Estádio MorumBI. Playboi Carti and Anitta also made special appearances during the show. The highly anticipated next project by The Weeknd, titled Hurry Up Tomorrow, was revealed with a spectacular drone display spelling out the album name. This project serves as the culmination of his trilogy of studio albums, featuring existential and self-referential themes.

Once The Weeknd concluded the show, a massive fleet of 150 drones appeared in the sky, spelling out the name of his highly anticipated next project, Hurry Up Tomorrow. This album represents the creative apex of the project, serving as the third and final chapter crafted with existential and self-referential themes as seen with the latest visionary teasers that have set fans ablaze with anticipation for this concluding installment.

The artist also unveiled the cover art for Hurry Up Tomorrow, with pre-orders available for vinyl and CD here. In honor of the São Paulo concert, The Weeknd released a limited-edition XO merch collection, with a portion of proceeds supporting the BrazilFoundation’s Brazilian Soul Fund. A projection of The Weeknd was displayed on the historic Farol Santander building in São Paulo leading up to his show.

The São Paulo performance was part of The Weeknd’s successful After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which included sold-out stadium dates across North America, Europe, the UK, and Latin America. The artist also partnered with the U. N. World Food Programme, contributing proceeds from the show to the XO Humanitarian Fund, aiding in the global hunger crisis.
