Team UwU and Paper Rex are the champions for VALORANT Challengers Malaysia and Singapore Stage 3

VALORANT Challengers Malaysia and Singapore has just announced that Team UwU and Paper Rex will be the next two teams to advance to the VCT Stage 3 – CHALLENGER SEA – Playoffs on 13 August

Newcomer Team UwU from Singapore emerged victorious in an against-all-odds battle with Paper Rex and defeated them 3-2 in Week 2, in the Best of 5 format. Meanwhile, Paper Rex in Week 3, secured the final spot to advance to the next stage in the Philippines. VALORANT Challengers SEA Playoff will be held this month 13-16 and 19-22 August.

The playoffs is a two-week event with qualifying teams from Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan. One winner from the SEA playoffs will advance to represent SEA at the VALORANT Masters 2021 in Berlin on 19 September, and will go against the best teams from Japan, Korea, North America, Brazil, EMEA and LATAM. 

The livestream was hosted on regional partner The Gaming Company’s official Twitch and Facebook, and saw fans of the popular game tuning in. Esports Fight Club as the Official Esports Platform partner gave away customized PC sets to some lucky viewers, while Official Gaming PC and Laptop partner, Predator, gave out exclusive merchandise during the livestream. Official Chair partner, Secretlab has also sponsored gaming chairs for the event.

Stage 3 of the VALORANT Challengers Malaysia and Singapore commenced last month, with a prize pool of RM 40,000/SGD 13,000 each week. All agents in the latest VALORANT roster are allowed, and available maps for the tournament will be Bind, Haven, Split, Ascent and Icebox.
