In a bizarre times, you’ll definitely need a bizarre products and Sony certainly delivered that. The Japanese electronic giant has announced their latest wireless glass sound speaker, the Sony LSPX-S3, and it will be available in Malaysia. Sony claimed it has an organic glass tweeter and candlelight mode to help users to creates a perfect blend of sound and illumination for an instantly cosy atmosphere anywhere in the home.
The speakers is capable to output crystal clear sound thanks to Advanced Vertical Drive Technology in the LSPX-S3, which uses three Actuators that is discreetly attached to the end of the organic glass, vibrating the entire glass tweeter to spread sound in every direction. Together with a 46mm speaker unit, Bass Boost mode and LDAC technology, this glass speaker is definitely not for show but delivery good audio experience for users. The LSPX-S3 is Bluetooth compatible and capable to connect two Glass Sound Speakers with stereo pair so that each speaker can act as a left or right audio channel.
There is a sleep timer for users to control when you go to bed and relax for the night which makes it the perfect night-time companion as well. Apart from being a wireless glass speaker, it has a built-in microphone to take calls from anywhere in the home.
The base of the wireless glass speaker is in a mineral silver colour with a satin finish and features a fabric bottom. Sony claimed the design will blend and fit into any room.
The peculiar Sony wireless glass speaker continues to amazed with candlelight mode. It can provides a subtle illumination that flickers like a candle, bright for general use, or delicate for winding down at night. Heck, even Sony has confirmed it could even sync the light to pulse in time with your music. There are four different lighting modes and 32 brightness levels and users can the brightness by sliding the touch sensor. However, do take note that Sony is advising this product is not suitable for household room illumination purpose.
While it is small and compact, the LSPX-S3 has up to 8 hours of battery life, and featuring USB Type-C charging. Packaging on the LSPX-S3 is made less than 10% of plastic, reflecting Sony’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its product and practices.Â
