Sony Malaysia has recently successfully hosted its Alpha Experience 2025 on 20–21 September at Confetti KL, offering a creative playground where photographers, filmmakers, and content creators came together to learn, experiment, and celebrate the art of visual storytelling. The two-days event delivers inspiring talks by acclaimed creators, an exclusive first look at the brand-new RX1R III, and the excitement of the Alpha Experience Photo Contest finale.

The program featured talks and sharing sessions by Sony Alpha creators, including regional talents like Tavepong Pratoomwong and Malaysia’s rising stars. Participants learned techniques and creative journeys through interactive sessions and gear playgrounds.
A highlight was the announcement of the local availability of Sony’s RX1R III, allowing guests to test the camera’s capabilities in real conditions. The camera is set to retail in Malaysia from September 2025 with a price tag of RM 20,999.00.
The event wrapped up with the Road to Alpha Experience Photo Contest prize presentation, showcasing shortlisted entries that formed a mini-gallery. The announcement of winners celebrated talented individuals who left with prized Sony gear.
